# Getting an API Key from Arlinear

API keys are used allow authorization to consume the quiz API.

1. Sign into [app.arlinear.com](https://app.arlinear.com)
2. Go to [Settings ](https://app.arlinear.com/settings)
3. Enable API access

Here you can see your account API key, which you'll need if you would like to generate a quiz, and retrieve grade data using the quiz API.
